PhysEd-Academy will directly address current challenges in school physical education (PE) and PE teacher education by improving four imperative quality factors: the purposes and content of PE; school teaching; teacher education; and continuous professional development (CPD).
What happens when PE teachers, teacher educators, and student teachers from across Europe come together to reflect, challenge, and grow? In this episode, recorded as part of the Phys-ed Academy project, three in-service teachers from Haugerud Secondary School in Oslo, Norway – Bjørnar Johannessen, Stig Odde Roth, and Sanna Grønlid Etresvåg – share their experiences in a unique cross-border collaboration supported by EUPEA.
Tune in to hear how the project helped bridge gaps between research andÂ
practice, foster meaningful dialogue across national and institutional lines, and offer fresh perspectives on the shared challenges of physical education today.
