MOVING for HEALTH Project (MfH)

The MOVING for HEALTH (MfH) project aims to integrate physical and health literacy to promote healthy lifestyles among citizens. By connecting individuals (teachers, trainers, health providers, community developers) and organizational settings (schools, clubs, communities, health centers), the project seeks to develop and enhance lifelong habits of active living and wellness.

Aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program, the project focuses on encouraging a healthy lifestyle for all, promoting participation in sports and physical activities, and utilizing physical activity and sports as tools for health. It aims to elevate the quality of work, activities, and practices of involved organizations and institutions. Together, the project partners aim to establish the MOVING for HEALTH network, engaging actors from various sectors including sport, health, and education.

The project commences with the building of the MOVING for HEALTH Network and mapping of current resources, strategies, and initiatives. Subsequently, it focuses on capacity building to develop and deliver the MOVING for HEALTH model, creating training tools for different settings and target groups. Finally, the project aims to disseminate the model to a wider audience and enhance sustainability through advocacy tools and policy recommendations.
