The European PE Association and DIPHE would like to invite you to participate in a 2 hour workshop. You will be presented with an overview of the DIPHE project and digital resources which could support your physical education and sport sessions and your work on inclusion related to wellbeing. It will be made up of 3 sessions/parts described below. We are looking for 70 teachers to participate in the workshop and to provide valuable feedback.
This workshop is part of the DIPHE (Digital Inclusive Physical and Health Education) project, designed to provide teachers and trainers with the knowledge, skills and ideas on how to adapt and modify aspects of their teaching of physical education, sport, physical activity sessions to make them more accessible and inclusive for all the students, with a focus on those with disabilities. The focus of the DIPHE project is on non-contact martial arts activities and inclusion based on the theme of Wellbeing Warriors. The aim of the Wellbeing Warriors approach is that learners feel empowered. The workshop will serve as pilot study for the project.
Throughout the sessions, the learners will develop, especially by practising self-monitoring and self-regulation.
According to UNESCO, in an inclusive approach to education is where all children can learn together in the same classroom. In schools, disability can be a cause for exclusion. In addition, there may be obstacles related to social, material, and behavioral issues.
The DIPHE Programme Wellbeing Warriors is divided in to 9 sessions with 9 videos and a Wellness booklet.
