Physical Education Quality: EUPEA experience on the construction of the European Physical Education Observatory (EuPEO).

For the fourth time, the Hungarian School Sports Federation is hosting the HIPE international conference on students’ physical activity and Physical Education.

CEREPS, the European Council for Physical Education and Sports Research, has decided to join the Hungarian School Sport Federation in order to respond to the most demanding issues and challenges this time in a trinity of science, methodology and practice.

As the conference had already been prepared at the time of the outbreak of the COVID-19, the program was redesigned to ensure that all parties interested and concerned also receive answers to the pandemic-related questions. After all, a world-wide crisis such as an epidemic that drives families and societies out of their daily rhythm and comfort zone cannot be avoided, in order to achieve higher quality in a particular sector.

So this time we could do no more than ask ourselves again what does quality Physical Education mean and how can it be implemented?

This is what HIPE 2020 is all about, hoping that the collaboration of many interested domestic and international contributors to the HIPE Conference will provide many practical solutions to the challenges and answers to the pressing questions.
